Braid Rug (12 new things)

So my new thing to learn for August was how to make a braid rug. Although, I haven't completed a rug I did learn how to make one.

Last week my mother-in-law showed me the steps to do it. Umm...I thought the rugs were just called braid rugs had no idea it was really  braiding.







She sent me home with some scrap fabric to practice on. I think I have it down and am ready to start on an actual rug. I will be going to pick out some fabric and get started on that.






As soon as I have a completed rug I will share it will all of you.


**my Sept. new thing is run a mile without stopping...this morning I walked/ran 2 miles and was able to go a full 1/4 mile without stopping. I am on my way to my Sept. goal.**
