Planting our Garden

Our garden has been planted and I couldn't be more excited. This will be our 2nd year with a vegetable garden and we expanded quit a bit. Hoping we have veggies and a few fruits a plenty.

Jake is in to the garden just as much as last year, but I think he understands a little better this year how it is all going to work. Maybe not the time frame (like thinking things should be ready now).

And having Jake there to help is one of the fun parts of gardening. It is great teaching him about where food comes from instead of just thinking it all comes from the grocery store.

This year we planted 10 tomato plants(last year we only did 6 and I wanted more for canning), 2 bell peppers, 4 jalapenos, watermelon plants & a blueberry bush. Then we planted green beans, carrots, pumpkin, squash, cilantro, basil,& cucumber seeds.
