You have always been a smiley baby. Yes, they may not have been "real" smiles, but I love them still. You always smile in your sleep & sometimes even crack up laughing while you are sleeping. It is the sweetest thing & I love it. Even if you don't know you are smiling. This week you did smile at Pawpaw while he was talking to you. So we are going to call that a "real" smile. You were awake & looking right at him. Since then you have smiled at me, daddy & even Jake. You love to be talked to & seem to be taking in every word. I am sure you will be smiling all the time soon!
You had your one month check up last week and weighed in at 9 pounds 6 ounces (50th percentile) & 21 inches long (40th percentile). You are getting so big & it is hard to believe. We have retired the newborn diapers & moved up to size 1. You have also started to grow out of your newborn clothes & fitting into your 0-3 month clothes now.
